Born in Quebec City in 1960, Marie is a Université du Québec at Montreal graduate in Fine Arts, with major in sculpture.
She also studied lithography and photography, and co-founded La Presse la Bête à Cornes, a studio gathering artists in litho.
She travelled through Europe and Near East, and prolonged journeys through Central America and India.
In the latter, she gave specialized workshops in Visva-Bharati University, and has shown at Shantiniketan, Pondicherry and Kolkata. She did many exhibitions in Quebec and in Europe.


Her works take part of private and corporate collections.
She sits on different art committees and is a long time member of ARPRIM.
Since 2002, she lives and works at L’Anse-Saint-Jean, a peaceful village of the Saguenay region, Quebec, Canada.
